Enrique Tellez Girón

Enrique Tellez-Giron has served as GFN’s president since 2003. As an accomplished sales leader with over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, he is also committed to serving the local community through his work with the Rotary Club and the UMC Foundation, as founder and creator of La Red Mexico-El Paso, as a Counselor for the Asociación Instrumentos por Juarez, and as a board member of the University Medical Center Foundation for the El Paso Children’s Hospital.
Mr. Tellez-Giron has a Master’s in Business Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Cd. Juárez, Instituto de Ciencias Sociales y Administración; is a Life Underwriter Training Counsel Fellow; and has been a member of the Million Dollar Round Table since 1999. His work ethic is based on a strong belief that leadership comes from commitment and loyalty to one’s goal. In his spare time, Mr. Tellez-Giron likes to play golf, read “Lope de Vega” books, and spend time with his family.

Romelia Chacon is GFN’s Life, Property & Casualty Coordinator. She graduated from the Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez and is licensed as a General Lines Agent in Life, Accident and Health and also in Property and Casualty.
Though previously she worked as a sales manager in a corporate department store, she has been working in insurance for over a decade. She serves her clients with a passion for customer service and special skills in investigation, detail oriented work, and coordinating information.
Ms. Chacon loves to read, cook, and play tennis and has a particular affinity for animals and charities that work to save animals.

Fernando Alvarez is a Financial Services Representative for GFN. Sumiko is a life, medical and investment assistant. She graduated from universidad Interamericana del Norte in the field of international trade and business. She has a certificate accounting assistant from international business college. She started her laboral experience for 5 years at el paso community college in the community education program designed to offer the immigrant workers the opportunity to obtain their GED. She worked as math and computer tutor in this program. She had the opportunity to deal with students and community people and acquired a lot of experience in customer service. She loves to spend her time with her family reading a good story book or enjoying a family movie.
